One of the most talented "Trick-Mix/ Turntablist" DJs in the industry, and now one of the best Video DJs nationally and internationally, DJ Destiny has accomplished quite a bit since the inception of Destiny Entertainment in 1997. With a career that spans over a decade, he has been a National Demonstrator for a number of pro-DJ companies and has played in some of the hottest nightclubs and venues. He is currently an Endorsing Artist for Rane and Serato, demonstrating and showcasing the new Rane TTM57SL Mixer and the Serato Video Scratch-Live A/V manipulation software program. He was also a National Demonstration DJ for Pioneer for 6 years. Destiny has also performed in a wide variety of nightclubs and venues, and has toured internationally (South America), with the West Coast DJs (now Visual Turns) crew. He has played at well-known venues such as Studio 54 (Vegas), 1015 Folsom (San Francisco), The Hard Rock Café (Sacramento), and currently holds the title of “Official DJ for the Sacramento Kings.” Locally, he is the Founder and Director of Groove University DJ Program at UC Davis- one of the few, if not the only DJ Program that is non-student run and is associated with a four-year university. Genres he enjoys playing: Old School Funk & Hip-Hop, Mainstream Hip-Hop, and House (breakbeat, dance, trance), but he most enjoys playing to the crowd and working off of the positive energy from his audiences.
